Reiki is a simple and powerful method of healing, which originates in the Buddhist Tradition.

 It has been offered to people in the West in a simplified way and can be used successfully by people of all beliefs. What makes the Usui system of Reiki Healing unique is the attunment process. This can be described as a series of initiations wherein a traditional Reiki Master who has been trained in Dr. Usui’s method, transmits energy to the student in an amplified state.  Reiki Certification is divided into three sections first, second and third degree, which coincides with the 3 separate degrees of initiation.

Reiki 11 – Second Degree Reiki Initiation

During this seminar students who have completed Reiki 1 will be initiated into second degree Reiki.  They will learn the REIKI – Symbols, which allow them to accelerate the treatment time, use mental and emotional healing techniques and apply a unique method of, absent healing.  These ‘symbols’ can be used as ‘tools’ to perform many tasks including: sending Reiki to treat people at a distance; developing intuition; providing protection to self and others; accelerating personal growth.

Dolores Whelan has been practising Reiki since 1993 and was trained as  Reiki Teacher in 1998 by Brigitte Ziegler( Munich).  Dolores has been involved with personal and spiritual development work for the past  20 years ,using a variety of techniques and spiritual perspectives including, Creation Spirituality, Celtic Spirituality, Psychosynthesis, Massage and Body Work.  She founded and was the Director of the Iomlanu Centre from 1986 – 1997.  She is author of a stress management book ‘Your Breaking Point’ and Ever Ancient Ever New Celtic Spirituality In 21st Century and tapes ‘Waves of Relaxation’ and ‘A Place Apart’.
