Journeys to the Heart and Soul of Ireland

Ireland is a place where beneath its modern façade lies a deeply rooted connection with the cycles of the natural world and with the spiritual world. Stone circles, dolmens, court cairns and holy wells, each with their own unique qualities and energies mark the places of soul “The Anima Loci” through out the countryside. These places allow the pilgrim to contact the ancient wisdom and spirituality present within the landscape in these special places.

The pilgrimage or Imram give each of us an opportunity to step out of our ordinary world and enter a different space and time where we can awaken to our knowledge and appreciation of the Divine presence within the land and within our hearts. Through the act of pilgrimage, walking, resting and praying in these sacred places, we are offered the potential for deep healing and transformation of both ourselves and the land. We are challenged to take off the shoes of unconsciousness that stops us remembering that we are always standing on holy ground. The pilgrimage is both an internal and external journey centred in the heart, allowing magic to happen as we walk the ancient and beautiful roads and the undiscovered secret places in the landscape.
